Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor network performance (edge, MPLS, fiber) using NOC tools.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve network outages, latency, and performance issues.
  
  
• Assist in configuration and management of MPLS networks, including L2/L3 VPNs and traffic engineering.
  
  
• Maintain fiber optic networks, including OTDR testing, splice loss analysis, and DWDM systems.
  
  
• Coordinate with field engineers for fiber repairs and network deployments.
  
  
• Document incidents, Root Cause Analysis reports, and network changes.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:

1. Diploma in Computer Science, Diploma in Information and Communication Technology, Diploma in Engineering (Telecommunications), or a related field, with a minimum of five year’s relevant experience in engineering within the telecommunications industry.
   
   
2. Bachelor’s Degree of Computer Science, Telecommunication, Information Technology, or a related field; fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
   
   
3. Understanding of telecommunications technologies, including telecom structures, fibre optics, networking and infrastructure.
   
   
4. Familiarity with project management tools and network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
   
   
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
   
   
6. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
   
   
7. Excellent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
   
   
8. Resourceful, meticulous and organised with an eye for details.
   
   
9. Willing to roll up sleeves and work on the ground to ensure the achievement of all KPIs.
   
   
10. Ability to work long hours under pressure with short deadlines.
